Tymduar Global Ltd held an intensive in-house training session for its farm managers earlier today, with a focus on strengthening day-to-day operations and improving field efficiency across all project sites. The programme formed part of the organization’s continuous drive to raise standards in agricultural practice through practical learning and guided supervision.
The Head of Operations, Engr. Peter Oko, led the first segment of the training. His presentation covered the proper use of agricultural inputs, tools, and emerging technologies. He stressed the need for accuracy when applying fertilizers and seedlings, careful handling of equipment, and the value of adopting workable digital tools where necessary. He also addressed time management, explaining how clear task planning helps teams meet targets without compromising quality. A short session on monitoring and evaluation followed, where he described how regular checks ensure that each project phase remains consistent with Tymduar’s sustainability goals.
The Health, Safety, and Environment unit then guided the participants through safety expectations on farms and within field operations. Emphasis was placed on the responsible handling of chemicals, safe operation of machinery, and the importance of maintaining environmentally sound practices in line with the organization’s policies.
A practical group session concluded the training. The CEO, Mr. Felix Ekol Ebogor, directed the activity and asked the participants to work in teams. Each group was tasked with identifying operational challenges and suggesting workable solutions guided by the CARES principles that shape Tymduar’s development model.
The training ended with a shared commitment to apply the lessons learned and strengthen the organization’s impact on community-focused agriculture.
